A Look Back
2022 was a busy year for Community Kindness. We provided much needed fresh, healthy produce to area children and their families, hosted food tastings for students in the YWCA after school Learning Center Programs, bulit and maintained a raised bed garden, partnered with ISI Elizabeth Elite Training on a school supply drive and a toy drive, and worked with our friends at The Hickory Tavern Charlotte area restaurants who collected food for our Holiday Food Drive. Thanks to everyone who helped us make a difference for neighbors in our community in 2022!

We loved bringing fresh food and pantry staples to the YWCA Learning Center kids and their families, but most of all we loved getting to hang out and get to know the kids!
2022 School Supply Drive

Fresh Produce Distribution at
Forest Hill ES and Hillcrest ES in Morganton
We had a great time meeting the students and their families at the Back-to-School Open Houses at Forest Hill Elementary and Hillcrest Elementary. We shared a lot of fresh, healthy produce with the families. The students were super excited about school starting! Thanks to the schools for partnering with us!
YWCA Learning Centers End of Summer Block Party!
What fun we had at the Block Party! The kids joined us at our coloring station and their artwork is great!
Look what's growing in our garden!
YWCA Southside Youth Learning Center Raised Bed Garden Project
Look at our garden grow! We built a raised bed garden for the kids at the YWCA Southside Youth Learning Center. We spent the summer watering and watching some delicious fruits and veggies grow. We had classes on where food comes from and did some food tastings. We even made salsa with the tomatoes and peppers! Yum!!
Winter/Spring 2022 School Year Fresh Produce Distributions
We made a huge impact on area children and their families this year. We were able to provide monthly fresh, healthy produce to area families in need. Look at the delicious fruits and veggies!
